The backend is hosted by Amazon Web Services, an infrastructure as a service (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS) provider (AWS) in its best-in-class. Our core backend service is built on AWS Lambda using a serverless model. This allows you to provide virtually unlimited scalability while maintaining a cost-effective solution. AWS is used for that function. This allows the application to run smoothly on this code. All requests to the blockchain, except transactions, are sent directly to the API endpoint. The API consists of micro services running on an Amazon Kubernetes cluster.
