Governance

The Aqua tank gvernance protocol is established at the core of the project. That is why, all advancements on the project are made after the approval of the community.

The community on Aqua tank is eligible to actively participate in the governance forum through proposing their own ideas, or providing feedback on others. At all costs, the community is kept transparent and productive.

The Governance Cycle

The governance cycle fuctions seamlessly, as it is divided in to following steps:

1. Preliminary discussion The goal of this phase is for each member of the community to bring the discussion about the proposal they want to put to a vote for open discussion with the AquaTank Protocol community on its channels. The proposal that is intended to be initiated will be communicated to the various community groups in the networks. The proposal is then debated, and team leaders are asked for feedback. Be prepared to answer questions about the topic. Share your point of view while remaining as objective as possible. Prepare a draught proposal after the proposal has been discussed and evaluated.

2. Decsion making In this phase the proposal is put to vote in a community network, where all memebers and developers participate in the voting process. Here either the proposal will be accepted or rejected!

3. Implementation Once a proposal has been approved, the next step is to create an implementation plan, which includes the time, resources, and personnel needed for implementation. The implementation strategy will be determined by the nature of the proposal, its complexity, and the requirements for its execution.

Discord

A Discord channel is established on the AquaTank Protocol server as a place for discussion and polling of proposals to be voted on. The objective of this space will be to propose ideas, discuss proposals, conduct preliminary polls and prepare drafts of each proposal. It is very important that all proposals are openly discussed in the community before being submitted to vote.

Snapshot

Snapshot is a simple voting interface that allows users to participate in the governance of the protocol. Snapshot votes are weighted by the number of AQUA tokens in the wallet used to vote in a 1:1 ratio according to the number of tokens in their integer portion

Trello

A Trello board has been created to facilitate the visualization of the status of the various proposals and ideas to be submitted to the governance process
